![]() ![]() The kiosk did not work, no matter what I tried. I had purchased our tickets online and was informed that I could just go to the theater and get in. ![]() I didn't understand what the hype was all about but I wasn't about to put up a fuss. I hadn't been to the movies in ages and my girlfriend wanted to take our kids to see Cinderella but she was adamant that we have to drive to Riverbank to see the movie in their "Luxury" theater. Let me preface this by saying we live roughly 30-45 minutes away (depending on who's driving). I will never go back there and recommend not to visit there are two other theaters in town both with recliners and one just 5 minutes away. The manager still hasn’t call it’s been a week. Btw I was there with family it was 6 of us total and since they thought I was smoking they kicked all of us out not just me!!! I asked him why not just kick me out but was unable to get a response from him. That still wasn’t enough they ask me to leave and promised an apology if they didn’t see anything on the cameras.( I already struggle with going out to social events because of my insecurities with my hearing this did not help if anything I think I’d rather wait for the movie in DVD from now on.) I went back later to make it clear that I wasn’t smoking since the manager ( he made the promise of apologizing) was not there I spoke to the security guard he said he looked at the cameras and said that I was behaving well that it had all been a mistake. I explained that I was hard of hearing, I took everything out of my pockets and I gave them permission to search me. Since I didn’t reply she had the manager, supervisor and a security guard escort me out. She would have seen smoke, she would have smell it or seen something in my hand I just had a soda that I bought there. First of all if I had been smoking which I never have. I didn’t hear her so I looked at my uncle and he told her no. I’m hard of hearing and I was kicked out of a movie this week because a woman approached me and ask if I was smoking. They are rude and uneducated about disabilities. The customer service at galaxy is the worst. If you find yourself here for some reason, spoil yourself with a new movie in style. There's really not a ton to do in the Riverbank / Oakdale / Escalon / Salida area. Then it has a seperate snack bar that serves red and white wine, various beers and hard ciders on tap or in bottle, good quality hot dogs and huge soft pretzels with cheese.īecause of the large seats the 12 screens don't hold as many people as a normal screen might cram in, thus the reason for the frequent sell outs.Īnd on top of all of this luxury, the pricing is relatively the same as other theatres in the area that do not carry these features. ![]() The theatre has a traditional snack bar with sodas, icees, popcorn, candy, and other treats like ice cream. Each chair is fairly large and reclines like a lazy-boy with it's own snack tray that swings over your lap if you choose to use it. That may sound odd for a movie theatre, but it's not when you see the set up. It's a little bit different in that everyone has an assigned seat. It's best to get your tickets on-line before hand so as not to risk the show being sold out. It's the only way I'll see a movie anymore in the theatre. After a packed day of sightseeing or meetings, you can unwind with a drink in the bar or dine in the hotel’s casual restaurant.I tell people about this movie theatre all the time and it's like they don't believe me.
